# Fees

ZB-1 distinguishes between **protocol fees** and ordinary **Zcash network fees**.

## Mining computation

Mining computation itself has no ZB-1 protocol fee.

## Claim fees

## Marketplace

Official ZB-1 BUY events require a **3% marketplace protocol fee**.

## Network fees

Every Zcash transaction can also require a normal network transaction fee. Network fees are not part of the ZB-1 fee schedule and may change independently of the protocol.
